Education is the most precious possession

If you have children, you need to equip them with the skills to face life. Education is the most precious possession you can leave to your children.

Together we can make our country monumental

Ghana is a model of peace and democracy. There is a lot that we can build upon and I am willing to give the dedicated leadership.

My Pride About Ghana Is Its People

My pride in Ghana is its people. Tell me your reasons and share with us images that makes you proud to be Ghanaian.

Our young people are Ghana's most important resource

If you take ages 35 and below, they constitute more than 50% of Ghana’s population. This means the country has a very young work force and people must look at what the job market is looking for.

Ghana, 2013: Mahama's administration major economic projects

The Takoradi Port Expansion, building the Bui Hydroelectric Power, the Awoshie-Pokuase road and community development , the Kintampo Power Substation , the Atuabo Gas Plant, the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange, equipment for the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Elmina Fish Processing Plant, the first Solar Power Plant park at Pungu.
These are the main projects President Mahama’s government has focused on during 2013.

2014 - Opening new doors for all Ghanaians

“I pledge to give that kind of leadership that will move this country to the next level.”
H.E. John Dramani Mahama – The President of Ghana

Ghana is now a model for democracy in Africa

HE John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana – Democracy is paramount to us as a nation. Together we achieved this for Ghana! And the NDC has contributed greatly to putting our democracy on the right track. Now we are a model for democracy in Africa. So let’s keep moving forward and upward! Let’s keep changing lives! Let’s keep transforming Ghana!

Education remains the surest path to victory over poverty and inequality

Education remains the surest path to victory over ignorance, poverty, and inequality. This is self-evident, and we continue to take bold initiatives to improve access, affordability, quality, and relevance of education at all levels!

We will continue to invest heavily

Having affordable houses, decent roads, access to potable water will not be a dream anymore for our fellow-citizens. The government continues to invest heavily in the area of housing, transportation, water supply, and communication to make sure that all the regions of Ghana develop steadily and no one is left behind.

Expanding the energy infrastructure is a permanent goal

I’m aware that this is not something which can be done overnight, but I will not find rest until we will fix the perennial shortfalls in power generation and every Ghanaian will have access to power.
