John Mahama meets Islamic scholar Mufti Menk.

Opposition leader John Dramani Mahama has received Mufti Ismail ibn Musa Menk, a Zimbabwean Islamic scholar at his residence in Accra. 

Mufti Menk serves as the Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe's Muslim community and head of the Fatwa department for the Council of Islamic Scholars of Zimbabwe. 

Mr Mahama expressed his gratitude and honour for the opportunity to host the esteemed scholar, as both individuals share a deep commitment to their religious beliefs. In a Facebook post, former president Mahama said, "Lordina and I were privileged to receive Mufti Menk, the Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe, in our home. His wise words are universally applicable across all religious denominations."
