Mahama campaigns in the Northern Region

The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has begun a five-day #Mahama4Change2024 campaign tour of the northern region. 

Mr Mahama will visit all eighteen constituencies in the region and tour the Chereponi constituency in the North East Region. This will be the tenth region the NDC leader will be campaigning in ahead of the 7th December presidential and parliamentary election. 

Campaign spokesperson Joyce Bawah Mogtari says the former president would during the tour speak to the policies and plans outlined in the NDC’s Resetting Ghana manifesto, emphasize measures he will be implementing to reduce the harsh living conditions of Ghanaians, stop the increasing price of food, fuel, and other essential items and his plans to improve agriculture across the country. 

John Mahama and Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang are campaigning to “Build the Ghana we want together”, and according to Joyce Mogtari, Mr Mahama can be trusted by Ghanaians to deliver on his promises.
